Web & Gis Developer/Analyst - Nov 2007 - Feb 2010

  • Lead Developer for the Cayman Islands national mapping website utilising Visual Studio 2008 with ESRI ArcGIS Sever 9.3. Advanced use of the following: C#.NET 3.5, Javascript, AJAX, HTML, CSS.
  • Lead Developer for departmental web services allowing data from our SQL Server and Oracle databases, serving datasets (Lists and DataTables), crystal reports (byte[]), PDF maps (byte[]) using C#.NET with ArcObjects.
  • Lead Developer for the Emergency Management Mapping and Analysis (EMMA) software utilising Visual Studio 2008 (converting old VB.NET 2.0 to C#.NET 3.5) and ESRI ArcObjects (ArcEngine 9.3).
  • Support provided for database and server administration, initiating integrity checks and IP configuration troubleshooting. Plus the provision of departmental IT support with software/hardware configurations and user profiles.
  • Major consultancy role in providing Turks and Caicos with a Land Registry Application (WinForms), departmental website and online mapping facility.
